How is this art specifically seen in the community?
it has everything that makes up for what the area “Towson stands for” all in the wording of the Towson. the Maryland state flag. Towson university’s mascot Doc, the blue gophers is the Goucher gopher’s basketball team mascot. the 2 main things Maryland is famous for which are its sunflowers and crabs along with Towson university’s Stephens Hall clock Tower.
How do you think the art has made meaning in the community?
I think it was a way for people to get a grasp of what the Towson area is along with being so close to Towson university college.
