How is this art specifically seen in the community?
This artwork is painted on a high wall of Armistead Elementary Middle School. It is high enough to been seen while passing by on Erdman Avenue. You can see it close up by going to the school but it also big enough to be seen from a distance.
How do you think the art has made meaning in the community?
This artwork is one of the many included in the Baltimore Love Project. It connects multiple communities throughout Baltimore City. It shows multiple hands spelling out “Love” without showing age, race, or ethnicity in the artwork. It spreads the message of love and togetherness while connecting all communities.
