What type of leadership is present in the community?

Community

How is this art specifically seen in the community?

The cross shape of the sign is seen as a shield that protects the local residents of the “evils” of the downtown area.

The cross is also seen as a logo that represents the area or is mentioned as a “Shining beacon in the night” based off of how it glows at night.

How do you think the art has made meaning in the community?

The original shape of the sign was based off graffiti that is used in the area to represent the population living in the area. The original design is currently more seen with a sense of pride for the locals who some of the residents wear clothes or jewellery bearing the same design.
